of Ao No Honoo, marlboro menthol and vampires…
hell…
it’s sembreak already and i’m just so loving the feeling of being trap inside the house. It felt a long time since i last slacked around doing nothing.
so, i’m suppose to savor every bit of it! Yay!
I watched the Part 1 of this japanese movie called The Blue Light in Youtube and I liked it. Not just because of the actor but the whole plot that you don’t usually see in the mainstream film industry of the Philippines was good. If i’m going to pursue this dream of going to film school and be a director, i would like to make movies in Japan. I love how twisted their stories are and i love the fact that they seem to not have an overly strict censorship media board! I’m quite curious why I haven’t heard a lot of fuss regarding japanese films in the television, for example in independent film festivals. Or maybe i wasn’t able to catch up with the fuss since I started to love japanese films just recently. I would love to make japanese films. Yeah, i noticed that they seem to be a little perverted but hey, at least it portrays honesty in their films that they don’t censor it and its considered mainstream unlike here, where most teen idols are protrayed as goody-goody and can’t even say one curse!
My point is, a movie is suppose to depict reality so I kind of wish that I hear jennylyn mercado or any teen stars to say a curse in their sickly sweet love stories.
haay…
Kazunari ninomiya rocks!
anyways, i caught Interview with the Vampire last Sunday and like my dear baby Chel, i’m quite fascinated with vampires too. Brad Pitt was hot in that movie, Tom Cruise? nah. My favorite Lestat vampire would have to be the guy in Queen of the Damned named Stuart Townsend. I think Stuart did Lestat really well since he is a rockstar in the movie too. The Tom Cruise Lestat only suits his 18th century character but if he is going to play the rockstar Lestat, he’ll be bad.
the movie was good and its been a long time since i have watched a vampire flick. I love how vampires romanticize everything. I think everything is romanticize when it comes to vampires. The way they kill their victims, drinking blood from their maker, searching for a companion, etc.
i’ve watched several movies the moment the semester officially closed. Finally watched Brokeback mountain (sorry, i kind of did not appreciate the whole movie… i just wanted to see the tent scene though…hehe), Memoirs of Geisha (which i thought is good since i love period/historical movies), Crash (nice…all forms of racism), My Girl (Hahahaha!!! I never thought I would like it! but i did! I watched it for three days straight! 1 hour per episode mind you!) and lots of Arashi television shows!
whenever i go to internet cafes I would spend 3 hours just watching Arashi on Youtube while researching or downloading large thesis files that my PC cannot handle. The more I watch them, the more i love them!
Ganbatte Arashi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
plans: watch Ninomiya’s movie: Red Sun, Black Sand. which was directed by Clint Eastwood. It’s a back to back movie together with Flags of our Fathers also directed by Mr. Eastwood. Both movies are about the battle in Iwo Jima in Japan, Flags is the American point of view which was derived from the novel and Red Sun talks about the Japanese point of view.
Cool huh? Have to watch both movies, I want my papa everytime there is a war movie coming out. He loves watching these kind of movies. I will definitely watch this since its rare to have the Japanese point of view to be released in a movie for the whole world.
i have to out!
Mazikare banana!
p.s. stress release is all about smoke… haay… i think that’s the effect of thesis, your body learns to tolerate hazardous chemicals such as nicotine…
